What I Offer
With Freddy’s Van, my goal is to make repairs simpler, more direct, and more personal.
I travel throughout the Pays Voironnais area to service and repair your bikes, e-bikes, scooters, skis, and snowboards, whether you're a regular athlete, a daily commuter, a family, a vacationer just passing through, or a business looking to maintain your team’s equipment.
I’m also a passionate rider myself: I started with road cycling, including a few bikepacking adventures, and I enjoy mountain biking whenever the terrain allows. I've been alpine skiing since I was 3, and more recently, I’ve taken up ski touring, always eager for new adventures in the mountains.
These personal experiences help me understand your challenges and expectations, and even anticipate your needs. I’m happy to share insights from my own adventures to better support yours.
My Experience and Qualifications
Before launching this adventure, I spent several years working in bike shops first as a sales assistant, then as a ski technician, and eventually as a workshop manager. That’s where I built strong foundations in both mechanics and customer service.
Over the years, I deepened my technical knowledge by earning a professional certification in bicycle mechanics (CQP Cycle), along with a specialized qualification for maintaining e-bikes and electric scooters, through Ligne de Chaîne.
This experience helped shape my own vision and gradually gave rise to a clear, personal project — one that’s local, people-focused, and aligned with the values I live by every day: nature, sport, and sharing.
Freddy’s Van was born from my passion for the outdoors and an even deeper love for cycling in all its forms.
As a bike technician, I saw how challenging it can be for people to transport their bikes to a shop for repairs. That’s why I created Freddy’s Van: a fully mobile repair and maintenance service for bikes, e-bikes, electric scooters, skis, and snowboards. I come to you at home, at work, or even on holiday.
After spending 10 years away from my home region, I’ve returned to the Pays Voironnais surrounded by forests, lakes, and mountains to reconnect with its natural beauty and support the local sports community. (Because yes, cycling to work counts as sport too!)
